UPCOMING DNA Stage works:
Numbed the Thorn
Numbed the Thorn is a dance-performance inspired by the ghost-train ride, where spectators voluntarily enter a fiction of fear. The work adopts darkness, spectacle, and heartbreak as lenses through which to question how we desire, perceive, and relate to shadow. Through this tragicomic passage of terror, the work interrogates the primacy of vision and spectacle as a contemporary economy of attention and affect. Body, sound, and light work as a trio, which generates a dark melodramatic baroque archive of images that continually overlap, assemble, and collapse.
