Wo gehört man hin? Zu einem Ort, einer Szene, einer Stadt? Dance Nexus Festival fragt nach Zugehörigkeit, nach den Freiräumen, die dafür nötig sind und lädt zum Perspektivenwechsel über den Rhein ein.

Auch das Programm kreist um Zugehörigkeit: zum eigenen Körper, zu anderen, zur Gemeinschaft. Besonders ans Herz legen wir euch die Stücke für junges Publikum über Verwandlung, Freundschaft und Nähe. Sie sind nicht nur für Kinder, sondern öffnen auch Erwachsenen einen frischen Blick auf Fragen, die uns alle begleiten. Gastspiele und ein Kurzstückabend bringen Positionen aus der ganzen Region dazu.

Beim Netzwerktreffen sind alle willkommen: Denn Zugehörigkeit entsteht dort, wo man sich begegnet.

Where does one belong? To a place, a scene, a city? Dance Nexus Festival looks at belonging, the space needed for it, and invites for a shift in perspective across the Rhine.

Its program also revolves around belonging: to one’s own body, to others, and to community. We especially recommend the pieces for young audiences about transformation, friendship, and closeness. They’re not just for kids, but offer adults a fresh perspective on questions that affect us all. Guest performances and an evening of short pieces bring in perspectives from across the region.

At the networking event, everybody is welcome: artists, cultural policymakers, initiatives, and cultural professionals: Because belonging starts where people meet.
