OPEN CALL: DNA Stage
(Dance Nexus Atelier)
DNA Stage is an open platform by Dance Nexus e.V., a space where movement meets curiosity and ideas take shape in real time. It is a platform for artists to test, share, and celebrate their work, whether finished or in progress, and to connect with an audience eager for new forms and encounters. DNA thrives on exchange, experimentation, and dialogue.
DNA alternates between Wiesbaden and Mainz. It offers infrastructure and 500-€ compensation per evening for the presenting artist(s). DNA can host performances, work-in-progress showings, and other dance-related formats (e.g. installations). Discussion rounds, artist talks, or other ways to engage with the audience are welcome. The entire evening, including performance and discussion, should last approximately one hour. As a guideline, the artistic portion should make up roughly two-thirds of the time, and the audience interaction about one-third.
